What happens when a former television sports anchor places a profile on match.com? Sheer craziness. Especially if the ad is kind of skeezy.
Carl Cherkin, the ex-10pm news sports anchor for Philly Fox affiliate WTXF-TV, posted an ad on match.com under the handle “Newsworthy12.” It was all well and good until Philadelphia magazine blogger A.J. Daulerio came across the profile. A.J. excerpted the good parts for us:
