It’s been a whirlwind of a day for Bloomberg. This morning, Washington Post’s Erik Wemple reported that Bloomberg Businessweek editor Ellen Pollock, who had taken over the role just one year ago, was leaving.

An hour or so later, Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone reported that Pollock’s successor had been named. Megan Murphy, who had come over from the Financial Times in August 2015 to take over as Bloomberg Washington bureau chief, is the new editor of Businessweek.
