'The Magic School Bus: Oceans' Game Coming to LeapFrog Explorer in August
Scholastic, publishers of many educational books kids know and love, announced today that several games in the The Magic School Bus franchise will soon be available on the LeapFrog Explorer.
The Magic School Bus: Oceans, which is currently available on several platforms including Windows, iPad, and Nintendo DS, features educational activities which inform students about the ocean floor and the lifeforms living in the ocean.
It also has 7 fun games and trivia challenges. Players can earn special badges by doing well in the games or trivia challenges, and can trade in these badges for additional features like decorations for the bus or a customized Magic School Bus driver’s license.
“For more than twenty-five years, The Magic School Bus has educated and entertained children and families,” said Deborah Forte, President of Scholastic Media and Vice President of Scholastic Inc. “We are delighted to once again join forces with LeapFrog to excite children about science, exploration and the world around them.”
The game will be available to buy later this summer. There’s also going to be another The Magic School Bus title in the Leapster App Center. The Magic School Bus: Dino Shuffle will cost $7.5.
