Another newspaper sheds its print edition, and this time it’s the News-Sentinel, an afternoon daily servicing Fort Wayne, Indiana. Its had been printed under a joint operating agreement with the Journal Gazette, Fort Wayne’s morning paper. That partnership, one of the earliest of its kind, dates back to 1950 and will continue through 2075, although in altered form.

A portion of the News-Sentinel’s coverage will continue to appear in print, within a specially branded section of the Journal Gazette, while the majority of the News-Sentinel’s resources will be devoted to a digital product.
