Reason #345 to fear the Mouse House
Disney launched it’s online subscription service aimed at preschool children today, completing its plan for what a Disney executive called “an online theme park.”
Playhouse Disney Preschool Time Online will set you back $50 bucks a year. And while Disney Online managing director Ken Goldstein told Reuters that it is the most learning-oriented of Disney’s Internet subscription services for kids, he also said something that has me reaching for my sippy cup of Grey Goose:
“When you’re dealing with preschoolers, there really isn’t a difference between education and entertainment at that age level,” Goldstein said.”
How comforting.
