The New York Times is making changes to its video team. Bruce Headlam, head of the video unit, is being moved to another desk. Rebecca Howard, general manager of video, is leaving the company.
According to a memo from executive editor Dean Baquet, the Times is now on the lookout for someone new to lead the team. This person will “help us design a broad editorial and business strategy for a video operation that can be even bigger and richer,” wrote Baquet.
