NY Times Names Suzanne Daley Associate Editor for International Print

A promotion for the Times veteran.

Daley has been with the Times since 1978. She previously served as metro editor, Paris bureau chief, education editor and more. She served as national editor from 2005 to 2010, when she became international correspondent.

In a note to staffers, Times executive editor Dean Baquet and international editor Joe Kahn explained Daley’s role.

“In her new role, as associate editor for international print, Suzanne will focus that sensibility on curating stories that appeal to international readers.
