News Corp. Cuts Back On Execs' Compensation In Light Of Stock Performance

News Corp. may be looking to make a hefty purchase in the near future, specifically in the form of the Texas Rangers baseball team, but that doesn’t mean all’s entirely well in Rupert Murdoch’s kingdom.

Bloomberg reports this morning that compensation for top executives, including Murdoch, is now being more closely tied to financial and operating goals for the company in light of News Corp’s 16 percent stock drop over the last five years.
