Jennifer Liberto has joined CNNMoney.com as a senior writer in Washington to cover “the government’s unprecedented response to the ongoing financial crisis.”

Previously, Liberto served as a state capitol correspondent in Tallahassee for the St. Petersburg Times.
During more than six years in Florida, she covered everything from presidential and gubernatorial campaigns to Congressman Mark Foley’s fall from grace. She focused on the intersection of business and government, including Florida’s souring economy and budget crisis.
