Mobile Shopping Breakdown: Americans Shop on iPhones Most
When Americans shop on their phones, they tend to do so on their iPhones and their Android phones, according to a new report from, 41st Parameter.
Internet Retailer has the scoop:
Nationally, 57% of U.S. mobile commerce transactions occur on a mobile device (smartphones and tablets) running Apple Inc.’s iOS mobile operating system and 43% occur on a mobile device running Google Inc.’s Android mobile operating system, according to a new study of 800,000 m-commerce transactions on hundreds of retailers’ mobile sites and apps.
