Mizzou Grad: 'It's a Great Time to Pursue Journalism'
A week after giving the commencement address at the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, California-based college expert Lynn O’Shaughnessy (pictured) is sharing some of that Alma Mater wisdom via her blog at U.S. News & World Report.
O’Shaughnessy takes a sunnier view of the Internet than many of her Fifth Estate colleagues, suggesting that for twentysomethings, the Web is a frontier of boundless opportunity. Among the three examples she cited during her Columbia speech is a Midwesterner for whom the McCourts going to court was a bonanza.
