Product Placement Agency Angles for Laughs

The concept itself is pretty solid: a product placement agency headquartered in El Segundo, with top-shelf clients such as Nokia, Nabisco, and Crystal Geyser water, authors a web series that parodies the world of product placement.

Unfortunately, the debut episode of Keppler Entertainment’s As Seen on TV seems to have forgotten about the comedy placement. Despite the presence of Groundlings alumnus Chase Ulrich, who wrote the script and co-stars as Austrian agency owner Reichen Hemlich, this week’s eight-minute debut episode comes up flat:
