It's a new wave conspiracy!
A Pellicano footnote: on Friday, media executive Bob Pfeifer was arrested in connection with the Pellicano investigation. Allegedly, he hired Pellicano to tap the phone of an ex-girlfriend, and he’s also, according, to the LAT, accused of witness intimidation.
Pfeifer, who reportedly refers to Pellicano as his “godfather” (ew), was once a member of the great eighties new wave band Human Switchboard. I’ve been parsing ‘Who’s Landing In My Hangar’, their only album, for a funny joke about wire-tapping, but I can’t find one.
