Imus Settlement, In Talks with WABC

Don Imus, who was fired from WFAN and MSNBC for racist comments, has reached a settlement with CBS although the terms were not disclosed. According to the Associated Press he is in talks with WABC Radio in New York. Reverend Al Sharpton, who was instrumental in the firing, said he would not stand in the way of Imus’ future employment.

Update: Drudge Report is reporting that Imus agreed to a $20 million settlement, and a “top radio executive strongly dismisses Imus will be offered WABC slot.”
