The formidable Gore Vidal, who has been a curmudgeonly mainstay on the American literary landscape for more than 50 years, is growing increasingly cranky about the media’s handling of the Presidential candidates. Vidal is ardently pro-Kucinich and quite upset that his eccentric candidate isn’t getting enough attention. The December 13th Iowa Democratic debate was, apparently, the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back.
After blasting The Des Moines Register as ”a paper of no consequence,” he turns his venom on Wolf Blitzer and his network.
