Google Cloud Printing for Android 2.1+ and iPhones: Requires a Windows PC to Work
Google Cloud Print lets you print to any printer connected to a PC running Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7 and Google’s Chrome browser. The service became available first (December 2010) for Google’s Cr-48 Chrome notebook. They just launched a beta release of the service that works with Google Docs and Gmail on smartphones with HTML 5 complianet web browsers (iPhone, Android OS 2.1+, etc.).
It is an interesting concept. But, its current implementatin is not attractive to those of us who would prefer not to leave an Windows PC on all the time just to provide printer service.
