Fantasy Football Infographic details data behind phenomenon
I seem to spend more time on my phone adjusting fantasy football lineups than actually making calls.
Turns out, I’m not alone, as according to a new Webtrends “Data Did That” Infographic, 69-percent of fantasy football players spend over 15 minutes a day analyzing their teams, making trades, and checking the waiver wire for that sleeper pickup who can help win them their week (and hopefully a few bucks).
On top of that, 70-percent of fantasy players credit the advances in real-time stats for their increased time spent managing their teams, while 73-percent are now accessing their fantasy information via tablets or smartphones.
Check out the Infographic below for a full rundown of this billion-dollar industry still growing at a rate of $100 million per season.
