ESPN Reporter Joins Lawmakers in Push for Tougher Anti-Stalking Laws
The story reads like a Lifetime movie. A 32-year-old blond sportscaster gets stalked by a man who films her during hotel stays. Said stalker posts videos of the broadcaster naked on the Internet. She sues for more than $1 million.
ESPN’s Erin Andrews is scheduled to join Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and Reps. Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.), Virgina Foxx (R-N.C.), and Scott Murphy (D-N.Y.) in a press conference on Capitol Hill Tuesday to plug tougher federal stalking laws.
