Designers and Clients: Fighting the Battle by Working Together...Or Something

Interesting essay by way of Airbag today. It’s Kenneth FitzGerald writing for the AIGA in a piece entitled “The Resistance: Designers and Clients Go Head-to-Head” and it concerns just that, the age old battle. However, it deviates from that standard “grin and bear it” approach to argue that clients need to be more critical, as do all of we with one another, because even though we hate it, it makes us better. And to be even greater designers, we also definitely don’t need to have silent clients, but rather, ones more educated about the importance and process AND then who will speak up more often.
