All New York DC Comics employees were offered jobs on the west coast. But as the LA Times’ Jevon Phillips reports, only half the staff at 1700 Broadway decided they could make the trek to Burbank.
And so, today, the staff working within a stone’s throw of corporate parent Warner Bros. is made up of roughly one-third former NYC employees, one third existing Burbank staff and one-third new hires. From the LA Times feature:
“It’s always sad when you see people you’ve worked with for a while leave,” DC Comics co-publisher Dan DiDio says.
