About the organization:
The NASW exists to promote “the free flow of science news.” Its members are freelancers and staff writers at “most of the major newspapers, wire services, magazines, and broadcast outlets in the country. It also welcomes members who are the public information officers on science from government labs, universities, and other institutions.”
