AOL CEO Armstrong: Patch Will Become "Main Pieces of our Stool"

I’m not sure how others feel about Patch, but I love the story. The local content platform run by AOL is spending millions of dollars, hiring hundreds of journalists, and, shockingly, has become one of AOL’s more public and important initiatives. I can’t get enough.

AOL CEO Tim Armstrong was on CNBC today, talking about Patch, and it seems crazy for a such a large company, but Armstrong seems to be placing a lot of faith into the local website.
