According to Nielsen Video Census,* ‘Nightly News’ online topped more than 11 million online streams for the month of June. The revamped ‘NBC Nightly News’ website has seen a 50 percent increase in video streams from January through June 2008 versus the site’s average for the same six-month period last year.”A release announced, “ABC’s ‘World News with Charles Gibson’ was the #1 evening newscast among key demo viewers last week. The ABC program averaged a 1.9/8 and 2.29 million among Adults 25-54, … This marks ‘World News’ best demo delivery in nearly two months (week of June 9, 2008), as well as the eighteenth time this season the broadcast has placed first in this category.
