NEW YORK McCann Erickson group creative director David Gray has left the Interpublic Group shop to join production company Hungry Man as a director, sources said.

Gray, 35, left McCann’s flagship New York office in March after just one year as a group creative director, a rep for the shop confirmed, adding that it has not yet been determined if he would be replaced.

Gray joined New York-based Hungry Man earlier this month, according to sources. A Hungry Man rep declined to comment.

Gray left Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco in January 2003 and joined McCann one month later. While at McCann, Gray worked on new business, Capital One, Dentyne and Certs.
