Longtime Wieden + Kennedy exec Buz Sawyer has reemerged in the business, taking on the job of chief executive officer at Cheil N.A., the North American outpost of Korea’s largest agency. Last March, Sawyer, who has worked at Wieden for the better part of 20 years, left his role as managing director of the agency’s New York office.
In making the announcement, Cheil described the hire as a move at “jump-starting its business activity in the U.S.
