Ziff Davis Media Game Group launched a new magazine designed to highlight Microsoft’s new gaming platform, the Xbox. Xbox Nation debuted on the newsstands December 11. It originally previewed in the publishers’ flagship magazine, Electronic Gaming Monthly.

According to Editor-in-chief Simon Cox, the magazine will feature game reviews, previews and editorials about the new Microsoft-designed gaming market niche. Launched as a quarterly magazine with a distribution of 200,000 and a cover price of $5.99, Xbox Nation will also cover gaming guides and strategies related to the Xbox market, as well as feature gaming technology news.
