This week, YouTube is testing audio waters by teasing a homepage dedicated to podcasts, according to a leaked 84-page presentation detailing the company’s business roadmap.

The presentation, covered by Podnews this week, aims to solve some of podcasting’s thorniest problems, including discovery and measurement.

A slide titled Looking Ahead outlines YouTube’s goals to make uploading content and discovery easier. Under the search and discovery section, the objective reads “search and discovery improvements including a podcast destination page, following at the show level and official podcast cards in search.”

One of the slides states audio analytics objectives as updating “analytics with new metrics for audio-first creators” and includes logos from measurement firms Podtrac, Nielsen and Chartable.
