The joinable calls option that WhatsApp debuted for group calls in July is now integrated with group chats on the Facebook-owned messaging application.

WhatsApp said Monday that group calls are now contextual to group chats, and they can be joined right from the chat tab.

The joinable calls feature enables people to join calls even if they missed the initial ring that started the call, as well as to drop off and join the call as long as it remains ongoing.

This can now be done with group chats, and the notification will display the name of the group, rather than the names of individual participants.
