Twitter Tweaks to DMs Include a Way to Avoid Accidentally Starting Huge Group Chats

Twitter introduced some tweaks to direct messages on its platform Thursday.

Users can now send the same tweet to up to 20 different DM conversations, separately, eliminating the risk of accidentally starting huge group chats.

On iOS and the web, with Android soon to follow, a new quick scroll button will enable people scrolling a chat to jump to the latest message.

On Android and iOS, long-pressing a message will enable users to type “Add reaction” from the menu and access the reaction picker.
