Twitter Tests Adding Hashtags to Communities

Twitter began testing the addition of hashtags to Communities on Android and the web, with iOS to follow soon.

The social network said in a tweet that hashtags will appear at the top of the Community page ranked by most popular to least popular in terms of usage in that Community.

Twitter continues to experiment with Communities, kicking off a test in early June that lets users toggle between For You and Latest timelines.

The first Communities went live on the social network last September.
