The mixed media tweets Twitter has been testing for several months are now available to all users worldwide.

The new format enables people to express themselves well beyond 280 characters by including up to four types of media content, which includes GIFs, photos and/or videos.

These tweets can only be created on Android and iOS, but they are visible to users on all platforms.

In addition to general users, creators now have new ways to tell their stories, and the social network said the option has already been used by @blackprints, the Boston Celtics, @Brandonwoelfel, @hellotefi, @jakechams, LeBron James, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, the Philadelphia 76ers, Seventeen and Usher.
