Twitter began rolling out a slightly easier way for users to switch between its Home feed, which is populated by its algorithms, and its Latest feed, which displays tweets in chronological order.

Users could previously toggle between feeds by tapping the sparkle icon in the top-right corner.

Starting Friday for iOS users, with Android and the web to follow, tapping the sparkle icon gives users the opportunity to pin both feeds and switch between Home and Latest by swiping back and forth.

Twitter had been testing the update since last October, and a spokesperson said the change makes its application “more visible and intuitive to use” and reduces confusion by making it obvious which timeline a user is currently browsing.
