Spotify, Live Nation, Gold House Amplify Asian-Pacific Islander Music Artists

This week, audio-streaming platform Spotify, along with concert platform Live Nation and creative nonprofit Gold House, introduced its cohort for the Futures Music Guild, an initiative that spotlights rising Asian-Pacific Islander music artists.

The three artists chosen for the initiative are Ruby Ibarra, Anik Khan and Thuy Tran. A selection committee of AAPI music industry leaders—including Pitchfork editor in chief Puja Patel, Warner Recorded Music president and chief marketing officer Eric Wong and Capitol Music Group president Arjun Pulijal—made the choices.
