Reddit began rolling out its revamped blocking experience Tuesday.

The platform said in a blog post that the goal is to give Redditors more control over their safety experience, who can contact them, who can see their content and whose content they can see.

The biggest change is that if Redditor A blocks Redditor B, neither one will see each other’s content. Previously, Redditor B would have still been able to see content from Redditor A.

Reddit also imposed a time limit that prevents users from unblocking someone and then blocking them again within a short period, as well as restrictions to prevent people from manipulating the platform by blocking at scale.
