Reddit: How to Reduce Award Animations

Reddit posts may receive awards if they feature information that the community finds especially entertaining or useful, and some of these awards are animated. Did you know that you can reduce award animations within the Reddit mobile application? Our guide will show you how this is done.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture/avatar in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Settings.”

Step 3: Under the “View Options” section, tap the toggle to the right of “Reduce award animations” to turn this setting on.
