User numbers have been hard to come by for Reddit, as it remains a private company, unlike the bulk of its platform counterparts, but chief operating officer Jen Wong provided a rare peek behind the curtain Tuesday.
Wong told Sahil Patel of The Wall Street Journal that Reddit averaged 52 million daily active users in October, up 44% year over year.
Those numbers pale in comparison to social platforms like Facebook, which reported an average of 1.82
