Meta shared details on the changes that are being implemented with its introduction of Facebook Graph API v14.0 and Marketing API v14.0.

New questions will be added to the Data Protection Assessment then-Facebook began rolling out last July for application developers with apps that access advanced permissions via its platform.

Meta is introducing a new process, access verification, to help identify tech providers on its platform. It will be mandatory for new and existing businesses with apps that require access to client business assets.

The company said it will be gradually rolled out to businesses in monthly waves starting in June, and businesses will be notified via alerts when they need to complete the process.
