When you receive a message on LinkedIn, the professional network will provide “reply suggestions” based on the message’s content. You aren’t required to tap these reply suggestions, and you can even turn them off if you’d rather not see them. Our guide will show you how to turn off reply suggestions from within the LinkedIn mobile application.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the LinkedIn app on iOS.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Settings.”

Step 3: Tap “Communications.”

Step 4: Scroll down to the “Messaging experience” section and tap “Reply suggestions.”

Step 5: Tap the toggle to the right of “Yes” to turn off recommended replies.
