Instagram released several updates aimed at enabling its users to share their content outside of the platform.

Image previews will now appear in tweets when Instagram posts from pubic accounts are shared to Twitter.

Tweets with links to public Instagram posts will display image previews in Twitter cards with thumbnails, and the post’s caption will appear in addition to the image preview.

Clicking the link will bring people directly to the Instagram post, and previews will be generated for all types of feed posts: carousels, photos, Reels and videos.
