Instagram Adds Text to Speech, Voice Effects to Reels

Instagram added two TikTok-ish features to its TikTok-inspired Reels video option: text to speech and voice effects.

Text to speech lets creators opt to have an auto-generated voice read their captions out loud, and it can be used as an accessibility feature to help people who are blind or visually impaired process any written text that may be included in videos, or for creators to “get creative and add fun and humor to your Reels,” Instagram said in a post detailing the new features.
