Instagram added a captions sticker for Stories, and the Facebook-owned photo- and video sharing network plans to test a similar option for Reels.

The new sticker will automatically turn what users say into text by generating captions that reflect their dialog, enabling friends and followers to see what they have to say, even if they have opted to view content with the sound off.

Captions can be personalized by changing the color, style and text.

The feature was rolled out in a handful of countries this week, and Instagram plans to expand availability soon.
