Facebook Reels: How to Add Audio to a Reel

Facebook Reels allows users to add songs to their clips before sharing them. Our guide will show you how this is done.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Facebook application on iOS. Also note, our screenshots will show you how to add audio to a Reel before you record a video, but you can also add audio after a Reel has been recorded by tapping the “Audio” option on the Reel editing screen.

Step 1: Tap “Audio” on the right side of the Facebook Reels camera screen.

Step 2: You can browse recommended songs in the “For You” section, browse songs in different categories (like “Birthday” and “Halloween”) or search for a song manually.
