Facebook shared its coordinated inauthentic behavior report for June 2021, providing details on eight networks that were removed from its platform, originating in seven countries.

The removals last month consisted of 2,784 accounts, 206 Instagram accounts, 2.249 pages and 142 groups. Details follow:

  • Algeria: 130 accounts, 221 pages, 35 groups and 29 Instagram accounts, primarily targeting domestic audiences and linked to individuals in the country, some of whom worked on the 2019 campaign of current President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
