While every Discord user has a set username, they can change their nickname (display name) in the servers they join. For instance, if you’re a member of a Discord server related to an online video game, you may want to change your nickname to match your username in that game. Our guide will show you how to change your nickname in a Discord server.

Step 1: While viewing a channel on the server, tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the screen.



Step 2: Tap the three dots to the right of the server’s name.
