Discord has begun rolling out Text Chat in Voice Channels, a feature that will give each voice conversation on the messaging platform its own text chat.

This feature will prevent the need for servers to create dedicated channels that are used by participants during voice chats. It should also prevent voice chat participants from sharing messages in more “general” channels that lack context for those who aren’t participating in the same chat.

Server owners and moderators will be able to customize permissions for their voice channel chats.
