Covid-19 Delta Variant Alters Reopening Plans for Social Platforms

Twitter closed its offices in New York and San Francisco, which just reopened July 12


Major social platforms: “Let’s get back to something resembling pre-pandemic normalcy.” Covid-19 Delta variant: “Hold my beer.”

Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter all revealed changes to their policies for employees this week, spurred by the emergence of the Delta variant and a focus on getting their employees vaccinated.

Facebook is requiring anyone coming to work at any of its offices in the U.S. to be vaccinated.
