Spotify is making use of its Podz acquisition this week by testing its podcast discoverability feature to engage listeners with personalized and new content.

The feature serves as a way for users to keep up to date on the latest podcasts or content relevant to the individual user, according to the streaming platform. In a TikTok-like vertical feed format, users can scroll through 60-second audio clips from podcasts tailored to each user’s tastes by Podz’s technology, where the algorithm selects soundbites from thousands of hours of audio.
