At prime time on Sunday night, April 18, NBC will air an hour-long special designed to reduce hesitancy around the Covid-19 vaccine. The special, Roll Up Your Sleeves: Presented by Walgreens, which is created and produced by ATTN:, has brought in big names to get out the critical message, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Shaquille O’Neal, Jennifer Lopez, Dr. Anthony Fauci and more. With the help of these and other actors, athletes, musicians, healthcare workers and national political figures, the special aims to encourage Americans to get the Covid vaccine, as well as dispel misinformation surrounding the vaccine.
‘Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad’ host Ko Im sat down with Walgreens CMO Pat McLean and ATTN: cofounder Matthew Segal to discuss the upcoming special, what we can expect, and how events like this have influenced public perception in the past.
