NY Times Vet Bill Carter Takes Buyout
The names of New York Times staffers who are accepting buyouts are starting to trickle out. The latest? Bill Carter, a 25-year veteran of the paper. According to The Huffington Post, Carter described leaving the Times as a “really wrenching and agonizing decision.”
Carter had been with the Times since 1989, when he joined as a media reporter. He previously worked for The Baltimore Sun. Carter, who has already penned two books on late night TV, is working on another.
