Politico Names Scott Rothrock Chief Technology Officer
The former vice president of engineering for Appfluent will lead Politico's technology and digital strategy.
Scott Rothrock has been appointed Politico’s chief technology officer, according to a press release from the news company.
The former vice president of engineering for Appfluent will lead Politico’s technology and digital strategy and will be replacing Politico’s former CTO, Ryan Mannion, who left for Ozy media in June.
“Scott brings a wealth of technology expertise to POLITICO, but also a start-up mentality that is essential as we expand the company nationally and globally,” said POLITICO President and CEO Jim VandeHei in the press release.
